Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Renoterra ("we", "us"), operated by the company named in our Terms of Service, collects and uses personal data. It is drafted with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) in mind, and with the GDPR for users in the EU/UK. Questions? Email admin@renoterra.com.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), studio or company name, country, optional phone number, role, team size and how you heard about us.
- Your Content: photos, floor plans, notes, mood boards, costs and generated renders and PDFs.
- Billing data: plan, payment status and billing history. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data: render counts, log-in times, device and browser information, IP address and approximate country.
- Marketing sign-ups: your email if you ask for product updates.
2. Why we use it
- To provide the Service, create renders and run your account (performance of our contract with you).
- To take payments and keep records (contract and legal obligations).
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse and enforce limits (legitimate interests).
- To send service emails such as verification, password resets and receipts, and, with your consent, product updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
3. Processing of images
To generate renders, your images and prompts are processed by third-party image-generation service providers acting on our instructions. We do not sell Your Content, and we do not allow our providers to use it for their own purposes beyond what is needed to provide the service, subject to their terms.
4. Who we share data with
Only with service providers that help us run Renoterra: cloud hosting and storage, payment processing, email delivery and image generation; professional advisers; and authorities where required by law. A current list of sub-processors is available on request at admin@renoterra.com.
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside the UAE (for example in the EU or US). Where we transfer data, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by the PDPL and other applicable law.
6. Retention
We keep account data and Your Content while your account is active and for a limited period after closure, then delete or anonymize it, except where we must keep records (for example billing records) for legal, tax or accounting purposes.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and limited staff access. No system is completely secure; please tell us at admin@renoterra.com if you believe your account is at risk.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise them, email admin@renoterra.com. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority, including the UAE Data Office.
9. Cookies
We use a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in.
10. Children
Renoterra is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We will post updates here and notify you of material changes by email or in the app.
